A San Francisco native, Kat Castro pursued her hairdresser career attending Zenzi’s beauty college in 1990. She had to postpone beauty school due to her first born and caring for him. Soon after she entered the retail industry working her way up to management. Ten years of retail and she felt it wasn’t her passion. She decided to restart her pursuit towards a cosmetology license and went back to beauty school. Achieving her goal and getting licensed in 2004, she immediately began her career in the beauty world. She trained under Vidal Sassoon through her employer Regis Hair Salons where she mastered color and cuts. She has now grown her independent business and has a clientele that has followed her for years. She continues to strive because she loves to make people feel good and look great!
